February 29th, 2012 - visit places to live

Hoi.

Today I have a free morning and at 2 pm we will meet one of the housing company guys to visit two places to live. Lets see if it is something that works out.

Back from 1st housetour: 1. house to share with a coworker: worth a discussion. 2. studio: good price, no more pro arguments (see here, its the basement)

Met a new Maastricht friend at 8.15pm and had a long walk around the city. Took a new photo of the eternal flame:

Goedemorgen from Maastricht!

Slept well the first night. Today's plan: Grocery shopping with my new coworker Nina, her cute daughter and househunting. We found lots of supermarkets around the corner. Its been all very close by. We had some time to stop and go in a very nice second hand shop.

At 2:00 pm my new coworker had an appointment with one of our housing companies and she let me go with her to ask and search an apartment, studio, or house for us. Its pretty expensive to rent a flat here in Maastricht. I learned that a so called studio (all in one room) is very common here. Huh. That will get interesting. Tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th Feruary 2012 we will visit two places. A studio for me and a house that may match our wishes and may be suitable for us both to live in. Lets see.

I met a new friend in the evening at six in town. We had lots of fun walking around the city and chatting all night long.

Finally. This day  is nearly done. Thanks god. Its been enough excitement. My shoulders are aching. I am tired. Give me some time for more details...

Freak out! Kekeke. I am so happy that I am not yet moving completely. I just go for some weeks to be back and go on packing and seing some friends. Only two more days. Do I have everything necessary besides the bag with linen? Hmm.

Wow. I have lots of books. I wish I had a plan, not a book. ;)

Six days left before my first official journey to Maastricht. Will have Monday 27th til Wednesday 29th of February 2012 for some prep and then on 1st of March the training starts. Will pack two huge bags to take as much clothes with me as possible :D. The more, the better. What is already in Maastricht dont has to be moved afterwards.

Called my mom today and invited her to come over for some chit chat and taking some none necessary stuff with her back to our house. Seems like it will be the first relocation I will be able to really throw some things away (I am optimistic about myself *g*).

One week to go

Its only a week left and I am still silence before the storm. Well, it comes how it comes, he? As always. I am looking forward to an exciting time for the first few weeks in the NL.

In two weeks its over. ;) On 27th of Febr 2012 I am leaving Germany for Maastricht, Netherlands. *excited*
