Tongeren Sunday

Great day today. Lazy Sunday became a nice breakfast, sightseeing Tongeren, eating spaghettie bolognese and having icecream - Sunday. Loved the antique market and the church in the middle of town of  Tongeren. Even bought great stuff for low money over there. Back home now.

Friday night decisions

Tonight I felt strange having to decide whether to stay at home or go to the music performace and the housewarming party that I have been invited to.

Arriving home from work I watched the following two speeches and I am quite happy that I did again. Its been a long time since I watched them. See TED talk section above.

So back to my decision. I felt the lack of sleeping-feeling and thought it might be a good idea to have a nap on the couch listening to some music and then go refreshed out to town. I did so. Got up, refreshed myself and thought Who the heck am I treating myself that way? Heard of that before: We are not a body having a soul, but a soul living in a body? Well, I like this view from the outside. Its helping me making decisions. So I thought about myself going down to town and listen to the music and join the housewarming. And somehow it did not feel comfortable at all...I thought I have to give my body the rest it is asking for. Even though I will have the feeling of missing something and miss the funny and entertaining moments and the jokes and the chats...I am trying to teach myself/ to understand what I read so often - that I dont have to say NO to myself when saying YES to somebody. And most of those somebodys dont even know that I am saying NO to myself just to say YES to them. We are all individuals? Well, think about it!

Surprise in the morning...

...running down the stairs to go to work I found my package of ordered stuff from zalando. Arrrrrgh! Now I had to go to work without opening and touching it all...

I talked the ears off a coworker telling about the stuff, which is only three pieces *giggle*. (Its been so bad, I owe him some drinks now.) Well, the shoes, the sweater, the scarf - its all been perfect choice. Fits. Looks good. Good price. Satisfied. :D

Being sick at home makes me do crazy things: 
I ordered things on zalando. A friend of mine had a coupon for 10 Euro less the amount you pay, so I checked it out and ordered three products. A pair of shoes, a sweater and a scarf. Curious? Go find out yourself: 
- PI911A05V-708 main argument: its real leather, they look very comfy, 
- ZA521J008-802 I love black/ black pattern, 50% cotton: cozy, 
- F1251H00V-058 black and white: classic, I love the lily flower on it, 100% cotton: cozy. Over all its been a nice deal. They say it can be delivered until Friday or Monday. Looking forward for the package now. :)

- Salad: celery, fresh onion, pomegranate corns, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper

- Aubergines: fried in a dough of eggs, flour and a mixture of spices (includes: cumin seeds, fenugreek, mustard seeds, fennel, kalonji)

- celery, onions fried in oil and with the left over of the dough

- paste of cooked white lentiles (no chick peas in the house to make hommus), sesame paste, fresh garlic, a lemon, pepper, salt, cumin, fresh mint leaves, a bit of cold water
